We Three Kings
Moody Jones Gallery of Glenside opens 2024 with “We Three Kings”, a new art show which celebrates the legacy of three esteemed Philadelphia artists. It will run from February 1 to March 9.
An artist reception will be held on Saturday, February 3 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.
The “We Three Kings” exhibition honors James Atkins, R.L. Washington and Richard J. Watson, renowned artists whose works capture the energies, legacies, traditions and pastimes of ordinary folks.
Each is widely known for their distinctive abilities to document urban lifestyle and nostalgic southern landscapes, offer a sense of comfort and familiarity within their works.
